Preliminary needs assessment

The main purpose of the preliminary needs assessment is to establish the expectations of our interested customers and, based on them, the applicability of our ERP systems. The parts of this process are:

  • Preliminary survey report
  • Business Process Survey Offer

Business Process Survey

Accurate knowledge of our partners’ business processes is one of the most important tasks at the beginning of joint work. That’s why we work to get to know your company as thoroughly as possible after contacting you.

Based on the results of the preliminary needs survey, even before the program development is ordered, a detailed Business Process Survey is carried out in each case, the result of which will be the requirements specification prepared by PROGEN.

  • This requirement specification is a document created as a result of our Business Process Survey service, which contains in detail the entire set of requirements for the program.
  • The Business Process Survey is already a special ERP consulting service, which is billed on an hourly basis.

Creating an offer

After all this, we will prepare a customized, detailed offer for you. This applies to the delivery and implementation of the proposed company management and administration system, and, if necessary, to the replacement and operation of the necessary hardware devices.

The preparation of the offer takes place in several stages:

  1. First, we prepare an offer for our Business Process Survey service based on the facts revealed during the preliminary needs assessment (including unique needs that differ from the functionality we have learned).
  2. With the unique requirements specification created as a result of the Business Process Survey, a new quotation is prepared. Based on this, you will be able to decide which software license to purchase and which development task to order.

In each case, the offer includes in detail all elements of the software that meet the expectations set out in the requirements specification.

Contract conclusion

With specific conditions and deadlines, we conclude an agreement on the ERP system to be delivered, as well as the implementation of the system.

The final contract is based on the established requirements specification and the accepted price offer.

Introduction and Education

During the introduction, our consultants perform the necessary tasks (installation, setting of rights, list and document editing, administration advice) and provide full training.

  • They establish daily work processes,
  • Basic settings of program modules/functions are performed,
  • User interfaces are customized, optimized,
  • They train in the editing of reports, documents,
  • They formulate user privileges,
  • Training is held for users on how to use the program.
